The main protagonist of this show is Donald Glover, but not only is he the lead actor, but also created Atlanta. It is the story of two cousins with different points of view about what rap, art, commerce, should be like and the different ways of coping with success. So far, critics and audience are backing this show.

The Night Manager

Hugh Laurie is now the bad guy… As if he was a good guy in House… Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman and Laurie are the main actors. The series adapts a novel by John Le Carré. A Hotel Manager, previously a British soldier, is recruited to infiltrate the circle of a gun-runner.

The Young Pope

Jude Law is an American bishop who becomes Pope. The miniseries is directed by the Italian Paolo Sorrentino. Filmed as a movie, the 10-episode series is a tale of intrigue and conspiracies. Diane Keaton is the sister Mary, who becomes the right hand of the Young Pope.

Fleabag

The BBC comedy tells the story of a young woman living in London and leading a rather casual life. He has no problem going to bed with anyone who comes to her and refuses to lead an independent life. The 6-chapter series stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Sian Clifford.

Stranger Things

The sensation of the year along with Westworld. Winona Ryder’s return to stardom and the revival of the 1980s. The 8-episode series chronicles the disappearance of a child in Indiana and has been one of Netflix’s greatest hits. Mystery, adventures and actors in a state of grace have made it possible for Stranger Things to become a cult series.

The Crown

Don’t tell me you wouldn’t love to get into the Buckingham Palace. Well, you can do it here. And also Downing Street and get to know the Queen Elizabeth, Churchill, the Queen, Churchill, the Duke of Edinmburg. Claire Foys plays the Queen and Matt Smith, her husband, Prince Philips. One of the most expensive series in history to narrate the beginning of the reign of Elizabeth II and some of the historical facts of the twentieth century.

The Get Down

Baz Luhrman, the director of Moulin Rouge, is the creator of this series that recreates the New York of the late 70’s. A city quite different from the one we know today. Dances, music, graffiti are present in a series that some have called the West Side Story with rappers and disco queens.

John Turturro is one of the stars on this TV series. A lawyer, Jack Stone, who defends a young man of Pakistani origin accused of murder.  Adapted from the British series, Criminal Justice, it is not set in New York.

Westworld

Last but not least, one of HBO’s new features. Based on a novel by Michael Chrichton, it is the story of a Western theme park in which the characters are androids. But, the situation becomes somewhat disquieting and dangerous when the robots begin to fail. Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton are some of the protagonists of the series.
